I am fat, and I am done.
No, this isnt some sort of cryptic suicide note. I am done being fat. This time, when I lose my weight, I will do whatever it takes to become an "in shape" person, and not just a person with a whole lotta shape. Today is VLCD#1. I am doing the HCG diet. It is effective, quick, and boosts confidence. It is hard. 500 calories a day is difficult. This is my vow. I want to be a fit mother. I will update daily, so, all 7 of you, talk amongst yourselves and decide who will come read along daily to boost my confidence. Peace out :)

ReplyDeleteI gained 40-45 pounds with each pregnancy (all c-section babies). I managed to take all the weight off after the first two within six months. That was pretty exciting for me. Now at 39 and the third baby 10 months ago I am still working on the last 2-3 pounds.
I love food. I am not a person like Oprah who has issues and food is the outlet....I plain just like rich, creamy, chocolate, pasta, potato kind of food. SSOOOOO....I run. I try and eat a salad a day and about 300 cal for breakfast. Dinner is a little more on the calories.
I digress....RUNNING....it's the best thing. I see how many calories I burn and think that was one free meal today! I know running isn't for everybody but if you can make it for you....you'll see nice results. I had 10 -12 pounds to go when I started running and have lost about 2 pounds a week. I guess that's the way....slow & steady.
If you can afford....join a gym and get a personal trainer. That's would be a luxory for me....so I just run and am going to start some free weights in the garage.
500 calories isn't very much for an entire day. Be careful. A friend of mine is working on some weight loss....her address is:

I appreciate your support :) The diet is the HCG diet - 500 calories ISNT much, at all (and even finger nails start to look appetizing the first week) but its controlled and effective. Problem is, I went right back to eating junk while we were doing fertility treatments. I'm just takinga break :)
ReplyDeleteI've seen you make great progress, safely, on your HCG diet. I KNOW you can do this! Remember, when it gets hard, that you may very well be the inspiration I personally need to get fit myself. (Do you feel the pressure to suceed yet). I will be watching daily for updates from you. I need motivation, determination, and inspiration. Can you do that for me?
